What is LiveOstad? +

LiveOstad is a streaming dashboard that lets you run 24/7 live streams using your own video links. You add a video link, connect YouTube/Facebook, and start streaming in minutes.

Do I need OBS or a computer running 24/7? +

No. LiveOstad is designed to manage streaming from the dashboard without keeping your PC on all day (for basic video-loop streaming).

How do I start a stream quickly? +
  1. Add your video link in Videos
  2. Add a destination in Destinations (YouTube/Facebook stream key)
  3. Create and start a stream in Streams

Video Links & Storage

Do you store or host my videos? +

No. LiveOstad does not host or store your video files. Your videos remain on your own storage provider (Google Drive, Dropbox, CDN, etc.).

What kind of video links are supported? +

You can use Google Drive links and direct video URLs. If you use other providers (Dropbox/CDN), make sure the link is accessible and playable.

My video link is not working—what should I do? +
  • Check that the link has correct viewing permissions
  • Make sure the file hasn’t been moved or deleted
  • Try a direct playable link if possible
  • Re-add the link in the Videos page
Can I change the video link after adding it? +

Yes. You can remove the old link and add a new one. If a stream is already created, stop it first, then update the link and create a new stream.

Destinations (YouTube/Facebook)

Which platforms are supported? +

Currently, LiveOstad supports YouTube and Facebook.

Where do I find my YouTube stream key? +

In YouTube Studio, go to Live Control Room and find your stream key. Copy it and paste it into LiveOstad → Destinations.

Is my stream key safe? +

Your stream key is sensitive. Keep it private and rotate it on YouTube/Facebook if you suspect it was shared. LiveOstad may mask it in the dashboard where possible.

Can I stream to both YouTube and Facebook? +

Yes—if your plan includes enough slots/concurrency for multiple destinations.

What does “Pending” mean? +

“Pending” usually means the stream is created but not fully running yet. It can happen if:

  • The stream key is incorrect
  • The destination is not ready
  • The video link is not accessible
What does “Running” mean? +

“Running” means your stream is live and streaming successfully.

My stream is stuck on “Pending”—how do I fix it? +

Try this checklist:

  1. Confirm the destination stream key is correct
  2. Confirm your video link is accessible (permissions/public access)
  3. Stop the stream and start again
  4. If needed, delete and create a fresh stream
Can I stop and start streams anytime? +

Yes. You can control streams from the Streams page.

What is a “slot”? +

A slot is a streaming connection used to run a stream. Slots help organize your destinations and concurrency depending on your plan.

What plans do you offer? +

Common options:

  • 24-hour plan (testing and short campaigns)
  • Monthly plan (ongoing streaming)
  • Annual plan (best value for long-term 24/7 streaming)
Do plans renew automatically? +

It depends on how your checkout is configured. If auto-renew is enabled, you can cancel anytime to stop future renewals.

Can I cancel my subscription? +

Yes. You can cancel anytime to prevent future renewals. Your access typically remains active until the end of the billing period.

Do you offer refunds? +

Please refer to our Refund Policy page for full details. Refunds are limited for digital services with instant access.

The stream stopped unexpectedly—what can cause this? +

Common reasons:

  • Video link permissions changed
  • The file was moved/deleted
  • Destination platform (YouTube/Facebook) restricted the stream
  • Temporary service or network issues
Why is my Google Drive link failing? +

Check:

  • The link is shared with proper access
  • The file still exists and wasn’t moved
  • The account didn’t hit access limits
  • Prefer stable share settings during streaming
What should I send to support for faster help? +
  • Your account email
  • Plan name (24-hour/monthly/annual)
  • Screenshot of Videos/Destinations/Streams page
  • Stream status text (pending/running)
  • Time of the issue

Can I share my account with others? +

For security reasons, we recommend keeping your account private. If you manage clients, use separate access where possible.

Do you store passwords or payment card details? +

LiveOstad does not store full payment card details. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors.
